Warranty

Products we sell are covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Who covers them, and for how long, depends on the product type.

Replacement batteries

1 year (12 months) from the date of your invoice. Covered by UPS Service Canada.

Refurbished UPS systems

1 year (12 months) from the date of your invoice, on the unit and the batteries supplied with it. Covered by UPS Service Canada.

New UPS systems and accessories

New UPS systems, network cards, PDUs and other new accessories carry the manufacturer’s warranty. The length and terms are set by the manufacturer and vary by model. The manufacturer decides warranty claims on these products. Contact us first with your order number and we will tell you how to make the claim.

A new product that is dead on arrival is covered by our Returns and Refunds policy.

What we do for a covered claim

For a replacement battery or a refurbished unit, we repair it, replace it or refund it. We pay the return shipping on an approved claim. A replacement is covered for the rest of the original warranty period. Claims are handled in Canada.

Not covered

  • Damage from installation errors, dropping, liquid, fire, or electrical events outside the product’s rating.
  • Use outside the manufacturer’s temperature, charging or load specifications.
  • A battery installed in a UPS it is not listed for on our product page.
  • A refurbished unit opened, modified or repaired by someone other than us.
  • Gradual loss of runtime that is normal for the battery’s age and operating temperature.
  • Labour, on-site service, travel, and removal or reinstallation costs.

How to make a claim

Email [email protected] or call 1 (438) 800-0382 with your order number, the product SKU and what happened: alarm or fault codes, self-test results, or the runtime you measured. Do not send anything back before you have a Return Authorization (RA) number. The steps are on our Returns and Refunds page.

Your legal rights

This warranty is in addition to your rights under the consumer protection laws of your province, including the legal warranty of quality in Quebec. It does not limit those rights.
